Dianne Gee is presenting a mini workshop to explore clouds and the landscape in Watercolour.  Please put your name on the sheet in the Activities folder on the date you would like to attend so we know that you are intending to participate (and so we can contact you if anything changes).

MATERIALS REQUIREMENT Di has asked that you bring watercolour material such as w/c paper, brushes and paints, along with masking tape and a board to tape your work down.  If you are completely new to watercolour and want to try, please give Di a call and she can direct you as to what and where you can buy watercolour materials locally

Take this opportunity for a guided Plein Air session.  Come along and learn about Plein Air painting with Chris Allen. Put your name on the sheet in the Activities folder so we know that you are intending to participate (also so we can contact you if there are any changes).

REFRESHMENTS  Following the work is the coffee (or tea/hot choc etc)!  Bring some cash for morning tea at one of the cafes in Milton.
WHAT TO BRING Chris has suggested that you bring an A3 or A2 Cartridge paper pad, optional items such as willow charcoal, oil pastels or your medium of choice.  Easel, brushes, water pot, paints, pencils, paper etc.  A chair if you wish to be seated, hat, umbrella for shade.
WET WEATHER  In the event of wet weather everyone will return to the Gallery and Chris will set up an exercise there.

Chris Allen, President of Millhouse Art Society, was thrilled to open the Easter Art Exhibition at the Ulladulla Civic Centre on Saturday 20th April.  Art lovers enjoyed the refreshments and wonderful showcase of paintings in all media, something for everyone at reasonable prices.  Talented artist Bernice Bryant donated the raffle prize, ON THE ROCKS to be drawn at the close of the exhibition 3pm Friday 26th April, with proceeds donated to Mollymook Surf Club.  The exhibition is open daily from 9.30am-4pm (except for Anzac Day which will be 11.30am-4pm until 3pm Friday 26th April.  Free admission and wheelchair access.

AUTUMN EXHIBITION

Come along and see an exciting display of paintings by Millhouse artists now showing at the Millhouse Gallery Milton (courtyard opposite Milton P.O. The exhibition runs until the end of May. You will see contemporary and traditional paintings, all for sale at reasonable prices. Opening hours are 10am – 4pm weekends and school holidays. Free admission and wheelchair access.

Millhouse artists will be  showcasing their latest exciting artwork at the ULLADULLA CIVIC CENTRE during the Easter festivities at the harbour.  The exhibition is an annual event which attracts locals and visitors to the beautiful Shoalhaven area.  There will be a great variety of quality artwork from traditional to contemporary in all media at reasonable prices.

Bernice Bryan has kindly donated a raffle painting ‘On the Rocks’ (seen here on the left of screen) the proceeds of which will be donated to a local charity.

Bernice has recently joined Millhouse Art Society after relocating from the mid north coast.

She has been painting most of her life and won many prestigious awards for her Water Colours, Oils and Acrylics.

The Raffle Prize will be drawn on Friday 26th April at the close of the Exhibition.
